Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated June 19, 2026
Jet Of America (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. The full, canonical version of this policy is published at jetofamerica.com/privacy-policy. This in-app summary reflects the same terms.
1. Information We Collect
- Account details: name, email, phone, profile photo.
- Booking data: search history, quote and booking requests, favorites.
- Usage analytics: aggregated and anonymized session activity.
- Consent preferences and language/region settings.
We do not store raw IP addresses, third-party advertising trackers, or unnecessary personal information.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide and improve the marketplace experience.
- Match you with aircraft, operators, and empty-leg opportunities.
- Send transactional, booking, and (with consent) marketing emails.
- Detect fraud and secure the platform.
3. Legal Basis (GDPR)
We process your data under contract performance, legitimate interest, and consent. You can withdraw consent at any time in Settings → Privacy & Data.
4. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
- Access: download a copy of your data.
- Correction: update inaccurate information.
- Erasure: request full account deletion.
- Portability: export your data in JSON.
- Opt out of marketing or sale/sharing (we do not sell data).
Exercise these rights at Settings → Privacy & Data.
5. Data Retention
We retain account data while your account is active. After deletion we keep only: payment records with your identity removed (retained for financial record-keeping and tax purposes), records of the policies you accepted (retained as a legal record), and your email address on our do-not-email list if you previously unsubscribed, so we can honour that choice. Everything else — your profile, bookings, requests, saved items, and uploaded files — is deleted, any membership subscription is cancelled, and saved payment methods are removed.
6. Security
All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled infrastructure with row-level security policies enforced at the database layer.
7. Subprocessors
We share data only with vetted subprocessors that power authentication, hosting, email delivery, payments, and aircraft availability. A current list is available on request.
8. Children
Jet Of America is not directed to anyone under 18.
9. Contact
Privacy questions: privacy@jetofamerica.com.
10. Google Sign-In Data
When you choose ‘Sign in with Google,’ Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with Jet Of America. We use this information only to create and secure your account, sign you in, display your profile in the app, and operate the services you request (for example, associating your bookings and requests with your account). We store it in your account record on our hosted infrastructure for as long as your account is active. We do not sell this information and we do not use it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that operate our authentication, hosting, and core platform, and — when you submit a booking or flight request — with the operator fulfilling that request. You can revoke Jet Of America’s access at any time in your Google Account’s third-party access settings. If you delete your account in the app (Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete My Account), we delete your account, profile, and sign-in identity; records of bookings and requests are anonymized so they are no longer linked to you, and payment records are retained by our payment processor under its own retention obligations. Jet Of America’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
